Police are appealing for witnesses after a pensioner suffered serious leg injuries when she was hit by a car in Nottinghamshire.
Officers at Nottinghamshire Police want to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident in Derby Road, Eastwood, just before 4.30pm on Thursday, December 7.
The force says an 87-year-old woman was injured close to the junction with Woodside Road. She has undergone multiple surgeries and remains in hospital.
A 31-year-old woman is currently assisting police with their inquiries.
Detective Constable Andrew Fawcett said: “From our inquiries, it is known that there were many vehicles in the area of the collision when it occurred.
“To assist us with our ongoing inquiries, we are appealing for anyone who saw what happened, including anyone who has any relevant footage such as CCTV or dashcam, to please contact us as soon as possible.”
