Ashfield Fire Station was called to the incident near Dob Park
Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service has released images of a crash close to an Ashfield beauty spot.
Police and paramedics were called, alongside firefighters from Ashfield Station, to Dob Park, near Hucknall, to reports of the incident, which involved a white car.
The date of the incident was not confirmed but the fire service has given out images from the scene as a warning to other motorists.
A spokesperson said: “Earlier this month Firefighters from Ashfield and Hucknall attended another RTC.
“Nottinghamshire Police and East Midlands Ambulance Service also attended.
“The main causes of fatalities and injuries in RTC’s like this are due to the Fatal5. These are:
1.Speeding
2.Not wearing a seatbelt
3.Drink / Drug Driving
4.Distractions.
5. Using a handheld mobile phone while driving.
“As Firefighters we do not know the cause for this incident, that’s for the police to sort out and are unable to give out any further information.
“We are sharing these pictures to remind everyone that they should all ‘Drive to Arrive’.”
It has been a busy month for firefighters from Ashfield Station, as the centre was called on to attend a building fire in Main Road, Underwood, on Friday, December 15.
